Bay Island Siesta Key Neighborhood Association (BISA)
BISA is more than just an organization—it is a collective commitment to the unique coastal lifestyle we share. We provide homeowners with the resources, news, and advocacy needed to protect our heritage and natural landscape. By fostering active engagement and clear communication, we ensure that every resident plays a vital role in the future of our island sanctuary.
Originally chartered in 1944, BISA is one of the oldest associations in Sarasota. As a volunteer organization, we continually target issues that impact our neighborhood and Sarasota by regularly working with the City and County in constructive and proactive ways. The dedication and hard work of the board has been very successful over the years.
With ever-changing conditions that impact Siesta Key and Sarasota, including the growing number of developers, vacation rentals and increased traffic, it is important for us to stand united to protect this special place we call home. It’s also a great way to meet your neighbors, socialize, and connect with common interests to preserve our neighborhood.
